This November’s SAP Datasphere release brings several practical updates that help streamline data workflows and improve performance.

My favourite feature this month is Replication Flows: Increased Maximum Parallel Jobs. You can now run up to 16 parallel jobs in replication flows (up from 10), which allows higher throughput for data replication when working with many objects or heavy workloads. For developers like me this means better utilization of compute resources, less queuing of replication tasks, and faster delivery of replicated data to targets especially when scaling complex integration pipelines.

Other notable features in November include:
Define Row-Level Authorizations Based on IdP User Attributes : Use identity provider attributes in access policies for simpler, group-based controls.
Cancel Start/Stop of Elastic Compute Nodes : Safely abort an ongoing elastic compute node start or stop, with automatic rollback.
New Incremental Aggregation Types in Transformation Flows : MIN, MAX, AVG and COUNT* added for richer analytical operations.
Cancel Running Merge Task : Stop a running merge in local tables directly from the monitor.
Disable Delta Capture for Local Tables : Optionally turn off delta capture for file-based local tables when needed.
